Project Overview
A total precast concrete system was used for the entire 71,000-square-foot food processing facility, including large spandrels that support office spaces with integrated glass panels. The interior features a smooth form and steel trowel finish. Hanging panels were designed for future expansion or conversion into bay doors, boosting the building's flexibility and sustainability.
Switching from steel to precast reduced the lead time from over a year to just six months, enabling faster operational readiness. The insulated precast panels also enhanced thermal efficiency in cold storage and loading areas, providing long-term energy savings. This design approach improved both construction speed and operational efficiency, aligning with the company's growing market needs.
