Founded by owners John and Lorie Ruga, the company grew from 3 employees in 2003 to over 450 today. Precast manufacturing first began in a 25,000 sq ft building on 20 acres just down the road in Millville.
Over the years, the company entered new markets, expanding on its residential construction roots. Following the housing recession that began in 2007, NEP subsequently began work in the light commercial, highway, marine infrastructure, energy infrastructure, industrial, parking garage, and total precast markets.
In 2017, NEP began self-performing development of its present-day headquarters on several hundred acres in Vineland. After several construction phases, NEP’s facility is a monument to the customers, employees, and industry peers who have made us who we are today.
