John Ruga has led the company since its inception. As Chief Executive Officer, he continues to utilize the same on-the-ground leadership that he began with in 1998. Beginning his career in his father's small commercial construction company, John has always been at home managing operations from the cab of a crane or bulldozer. His visionary mindset has allowed NEP to grow far beyond his first idea of creating a manufacturing center for precast basements in New Jersey. He now finds himself at the helm of one of the largest precast operations in the United States.
John grew up in a small community in South Jersey and believes strongly in working hard to give back to the people around him. His Christian faith is woven into his everyday business decisions and the way in which he treats employees and customers alike.
Lorie Ruga has been the quiet leading force of many aspects of Northeast Precast over the past 20 years. As John's longtime closest advisor, she brings a deep knowledge of NEP's fundamental principles and history to the Chief Operations Officer position. Previously she singlehandedly took care of accounting, scheduling, and human resource needs throughout the company. She now directly oversees these departments and continues to ensure that employees, customers, and vendors are all represented fairly in NEP's business decisions.
Lorie is deeply rooted in the construction industry having begun in the Heavy Equipment sector before taking a leadership position at Northeast Precast shortly after it was founded.
Mike Timken is the Chief Financial Officer for Northeast Precast. Since joining the company in 2018, he has overseen the financial aspects of the business. Prior to his work at NEP, Mike spent 18 years as CFO in the construction equipment industry, as well as holding other various executive level positions. During his tenure at the company he has overseen record setting growth in consecutive years.
Mike is a CPA and graduate of Temple University.
As President of Northeast Precast, Mark Gorgas seeks to serve its employees and customers with effective leadership across all departments. Mark remains focused on maintaining the outstanding reputation that NEP has built in the industry. He understands the roots of the business and has worked alongside its workers for over twenty years.
Mark joined the NEP team near its beginning in 2003, working as a laborer and carpenter before moving through drafting, Project Manager, Plant Manager, and General Manager positions.
Persistently turning his and others' ideas into reality, Justin has brought his blue-collar background all the way to the Executive level. While overseeing steel fabrication and field operation efforts, Justin continues to bring industry leading innovation to all areas of the company's operations.
With multiple accreditations earned at local trade schools, Justin began working at NEP in 2008, moving through managerial and director positions before joining the Executive team.
